Bonnie Bailey Obituary, Death – As a direct consequence of the untimely passing of Dr. Bonnie Bailey, the municipality of Jefferson City, Missouri, requests that Dr. John Moseley, who serves as the President of Lincoln University, be promptly removed from his position. We are deeply saddened to inform you that Dr. Antoinette “Bonnie” Candia-Bailey passed away on January 8th. Her demise was announced with tremendous grief.
The emotional pain that Dr. Bailey endured as a result of “bullying and severe mistreatment” in her role as Vice President of Student Affairs at Lincoln University Missouri served as the impetus for her decision to take her own life, as stated by official sources within the family. President Sherman Bonds of Lincoln University reached out to President Victor Pasley of the Lincoln University Board of Curators, according to a statement that was distributed through the Lincoln University National Alumni Association. There were “repeated calls and emails expressing dire concern for the health of the university,” according to the letter, which indicated that President Pasley had received these messages.
We find ourselves in a feeling of despondency when we are standing here. In light of this, I would like to make a request to you and the Board of Curators to find a solution that will bring about a sense of healing and harmony. I would want to hear your response to my request. Because I am the President of the Lincoln University (National) Alumni Association, I feel compelled to demand that there be a change in the person who currently holds the office of President of the University, and that this change take place as soon as possible.
